    • Yes.

  2. Do you have daily/Shabbos/Yom Tev/Chol Hamoed minyanim?

    • We do not have a frum community, so any minyanim depend on visitors. Please fill out the interest form at chabadsv.org/minyanrequest and if there is a possibility of putting a minyan together, we will follow up closer to your arrival dates. There are higher chances during bein hazmanim/Yeshiva breaks, but it’s never guaranteed.

  3. Where do you recommend staying?

    • Massanutten/McGaheysville is a very popular area. It’s about 20 minutes from the Chabad House and 10 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. There are many hotels and airbnbs closer to Chabad as well.

There’s lots to explore throughout the Valley, especially if you enjoy nature, history and family attractions. Some visitor favorites include:

  • Luray Caverns – Luray: Spectacular underground caverns plus the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum, Shenandoah Heritage Village and Toy Town Junction. There’s also a Garden Maze and Rope Adventure Park.

  • Grand Caverns – Grottoes: Explore one of America’s oldest show caves, with guided cavern tours, hiking trails and a beautiful riverside park.

  • Frontier Culture Museum – Staunton: A large outdoor living-history museum where you can walk through historic farms and buildings and experience how people lived in earlier generations.

  • Cross Keys Farm – Harrisonburg: Seasonal U-pick apples and other fruits and produce. Picking availability changes throughout the season, so check before going.

  • Virginia Safari Park – Natural Bridge: A drive-through safari where animals roam freely and can come right up to your vehicle, plus a walk-through Safari Village.

Some flavors are dairy and not Cholov Yisroel, so be sure to check the label.
