Yes.

-
Do you have daily/Shabbos/Yom Tev/Chol Hamoed minyanim?
-
We do not have a frum community, so any minyanim depend on visitors. Please fill out the interest form at chabadsv.org/minyanrequest and if there is a possibility of putting a minyan together, we will follow up closer to your arrival dates. There are higher chances during bein hazmanim/Yeshiva breaks, but it’s never guaranteed.

What’s there to do in the Shenandoah Valley?
-
There’s lots to explore throughout the Valley, especially if you enjoy nature, history and family attractions. Some visitor favorites include:
-
Luray Caverns – Luray: The famous caverns, plus the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum, Shenandoah Heritage Village, Toy Town Junction, Garden Maze, and Rope Adventure Park, all at the same complex.
-
Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive – near Elkton/Luray: Beautiful overlooks, waterfalls and countless hiking trails. Swift Run Gap near Elkton is a convenient entrance from the Harrisonburg area.
-
Grand Caverns – Grottoes: Cavern tours, hiking and a beautiful riverside park.
-
Natural Chimneys Park and Campground – Mount Solon: Huge natural limestone towers, walking and hiking trails, picnicking and riverfront scenery.
-
Frontier Culture Museum – Staunton: A large outdoor living-history museum with historic farms and buildings from different cultures and periods.
-
Virginia Safari Park – Natural Bridge: A 180-acre drive-through safari where animals come right up to your car, plus a walk-through Safari Village.
-
Natural Bridge State Park – Natural Bridge: The spectacular natural limestone bridge, hiking trails and waterfalls. It pairs nicely with the Safari Park for a day trip.
-
For hiking, several of our visitors have recommended the AllTrails app. It’s an easy way to find nearby trails and choose based on length and difficulty.
